Service Description

Learn to Abseil! These sessions are all about repelling (abseiling). We start with assisted abseil and progress towards a personal abseil set up. Munro baggers - want to do the Inaccessible Pinnacle or similar routes but don't know how you feel about abseiling? This is the perfect course to get you ready for your adventure! Great confidence builder. The sessions usually run between 2 to 3 hours. All abilities - come join the fun!!! Equipment provided – Harness (feel free to bring your own), helmet (feel free to bring your own), all specialised rock-climbing equipment. Personal Kit (not provided) – good walking trainers or boots, appropriate clothing (varies depending on the great Scottish weather), rucksack for your layers and water/drinks and snacks/food. ***Please note for young children contact me directly to see if the open group is appropriate - don't worry - if it's not we can organise a family fun day just for you!*** These courses are run around Glasgow and the central belt. The venues will vary depending on the weather so this is often decided fairly close to the dates. I will give you as much notice as possible (and hope the weather is kind). Sometimes collection from public transport and/or car sharing is available. Venues used include; Neilston, Kilsyth, Rosyth, Stirling, and Arrochar. I reserve the right to postpone or cancel the session for any reason, including weather (this will be done as soon as possible), and minimum group size. I strive for a personal experience so I can meet everyone's personal needs/goals so I keep my group size small. Max group size is 4, minimum of 2
